Some jobs are just full of bankers.. If your not accepted try being controversial for a change and see how that goes. Worst case is you get another job but at least thats better than working with bankers!

Don't worry about it. Just be yourself. Maybe you've been trying too hard. A lot of people interpret that eagerness to fit in as being fake or square. If you can just relax and be your normal self, you'll find that you have other things in common with your co-workers. And even if you don't if you're more calm and comfortable people will still accept you as an alright guy.

If you want try bringing in donuts or cookies one day, see if that brightnes other peoples spirts on to yours.

If that doesnt work just do you work, do it good and make sure everyone else knows that you do your work good too. You are not at work to make friends. Just show up, do what your told, go home and enjoy yourself. alot of people are stuck up, find real friends and dont worry about anything outside of your friends and loved ones.

Do your job and go home. Keep your distance and you'll probably get more respect. Continually attempt to be with them and like them and they'll think you're a joke. You don't need to hang with people who judge others by how much money they have - do you?

i used to feel a bit like that at my job, its because i always imagine people are thinking negative things when they are really not, as soon as i accepted that i am not a mind reader and decided to be polite and take my luck as it comes every day, not regulating or judging anyone except myself, everything was fine.

Read "lucky's" response. Couldn't put it better myself. I did the same thing and I'm much happier now.
