There is an ancient cave inscription (which location I cannot remember) that actually says: Yaweh and Ashura .. in the normal script for partners. This reference is not found in any of our Biblical texts, but, who knows ... before the Bible was written down... if there wasn't a female diety component. However... another side of it is that God may not even have a gender, really... so... the whole male thing was put on God by us because of our earthy need to 'see' God...
