Absolutely, but don't ship them here, we don't want them anymore! Send them to Afghanistan! Or Vietnam!

If they are there illegally, then yes. Maybe not "criminals" but definitely breaking the law. and if they are caught, they should be deported.

I had a friend in London who was there on a 6 month student visa. But she stayed for over a year and was working. As soon as she the government found out, she was given 24 hours to leave. I hated to see her go, but it was her own fault for not applying for a work visa.

I wish the American government would do this from time to time, instead of letting illegals take over our country and our generous tax dollars.

I think that the whole world should be 'open' all people from all nations should be free to travel, work, live where ever they choose.
Possibly the worse place I have ever been was Nigeria, where the passport control on my way in asked "British"? and threw my passport to the back of the line. There was no reason that I could see for him to treat me like that , or any other passenger.
Another bad experience was the USA, yes USA! Just a family visit from the UK to Florida, to viit Disney land,I think this was around 1986, myself Wife and Son.
The passport control wanted to ensure I had return tickets to the UK, how much money I had brought with me, it seemed to go on for ever before we were allowed in, I felt like some sort of illegal.
The whole thing is degrading, neither I our my family wore head dresses, we are all white, (not that this should make any difference in treatment) all British born going back generations.
All barriers should be down, what are people afraid of really?
Terrorists? Losing their jobs because some are willing and able to do the job cheaper? Or because your government has persuaded you that you are in some way 'superior' to your fellow man? You are not superior, 'richer' maybe, superior no!
I have worked in many parts of the world with all nationalities, and have been suprised at the technical knowledge in many countries, I think Thailand was my biggest eye opener, the technical training of the young in that country was great.
Far above the present UK training! UK 'skills' have long since died, we are certainly not superior. We will very very soon require immigrants (illegal or not) to be able to cover the job.

It would depend on the law of the country that they are living in. If the laws of that country say it is against the law to reside their without the proper paperwork, then by definition, they are committing a criminal act.

It is simply a matter of logic. If you break the law, you are a criminal. Duh.

Immigrants tend to give much more to the economy than native citizens (source - National Audit Office, UK). If you don't want them, we'll have them.

Hello money.

NO WAY! They make a fine and cheap labor for harvesting grapes and wheat, that's about all Americans are good for.
