I find that Winamp Pro has the best features, the coolest skins, the best sound. Which mp3 program do you think is the best, and if theres one out there with more features than Winamp, I'd love to try it? (I hate AOL and the fact that they own Winamp kinds irks me, but I havent found one with 1/2 the features.)

I love Winamp. It is king. The fact that AOL owns it is a little weird because Winamp rocks and everything else AOL does more or less sucks. I especially love the skins. Some of those people are really good at making skins. The only thing that could make Winamp better would be if they could somehow enable it to interact with the iPod or other mp3 players.

Almost all media palyers will play mp3s now.

Real Player
Windows Media Player.
MusicMatch Jukebox
iTunes (QuickTime)

And I'm sure there are many other non pop players out there. I've used winamp since the days of 100mhz. I don't like all the features and such, I just like a player that launches quick and takes no load on my processing.

I do like winamp... has the best feature set of all the ones i've seen. Windows Media player would come in a close second. But if your on Linux You've got to give Amarok a chance it's awesome!!

Winamp is the best MP3 palyer, not just for the skins, cuz you can check miles of useful plug-ins in the Winamp site.

Winamp for life. It takes up the least resources and plays everything I want the way I want without a bunch of convoluted and unnecessary interfaces that only serve to slow my computer down.

Personally, I love iTunes. It does a great job at managing massive amounts of music. I can find what I want to listen to with ease. Not to mention that you can use it to get great free podcasts and internet radio.
