Creationism isn't science. The creations instead testify that it's history. If history isn't science, then science is wrong. You operate on the belief (which is a very good one) that science is always right. Why? Because that's how we've been taught: Occum's Razor allows us to make predictions about how the world is by observation and testing. Doesn't mean we're right, just means that we're trying to understand our world as much as possible. Remember people, science doesn't have "proofs." Those only exist in math.
Edit: As an important disclaimer, the fact that creationism isn't science doesn't have anything to do with whether it's true or not, it just deals with what science IS. People don't understand what makes science science.

Sounds like you need a little bit more education..... Have you completed this research yourself? Or my guess is that you just believe the first thing you read. You need to read the 'Language of God' by Dr. Francis Collins. If you are that brushed up in the scientific community, you will know that he is the director of the National Human Genome Research Institute. Once an atheist, but now a believer in Christ. He found how the beliefs of Christianity are compatible with the scientific world. You'll be surprised what a little research will do for you.... It is more compatible than you think. Now who is laughing? By the way - - who says faith is blind? I most certainly do not walk blindly. I believe in what I do because of what I have researched and found to be truth. Maybe you should try the same?

I think that we are all aware of the scientific community's views of us, but that does not mean we are wrong. Your "99.8%" claim is pure fiction and I imagine that you just made it up. I think you will find that evolution is scientifically nonviable, mathematics and the second law of thermodynamics clearly preclude evolution as it is taught while Intelligent design theory predicts the 1st and 2nd laws of thermo dynamics, the shared Mitochondrial DNA of ALL women (Nature Journal 1986 I believe) and many other scientific facts. The simple truth is that neither Intelligent Design nor Evolution can be proven scientifically because neither can be observed and both rest on a foundation of a causeless cause requiring a leap of faith to believe in them.

Science deals with objective facts...cause and effect. God and religion will always be subjective. With this in mind one must think the two must remain seperate and conflict one another . HOwever, causes can be either natural or supernatural. I find no objective proof that the causes of evolution are natural and must be supernatural. "Even the self-proclaimed atheist Robert Shapiro, professor of chemistry at New York University, proclaims that no natural explanation for the origin of life exists."

No offence, but it's futile to try to un-convert people with religious beliefs strong enough to completely disagree with empirical evidence. These people believe in creationism as much as you do in science. If they can't succeed in converting you to their point of view, there's no reason to believe you can do the same. Their own reasoning is as sound to them as yours is to yourself.
The fact is, people will believe what they want to believe, what makes the most sense in their own view of the world. Best thing is just to let them be than to open yourself up to flaming and get yourself angry from such replies. Most of them have probably already read the scientific information out there and formulated their own arguments against them.

Why shouldn't religionists believe Creationism is correct? After all they have a monopoly on truth based on a book written long ago by men who thought the world was flat and disease is caused by demons. Not only that, they believe it is a violation of their rights if they are denied the opportunity to use the coercive power of the state to shove their superstitious beliefs down every ones throat.

Probably as laughable as it is to Creationists that Darwin's theories are picked and chosen by Evolutionists. Eugenics, (the idea that certain people -by race and by sex- were inherently inferior) which has now been denied by those deemed to be intelligent scientists were as part and parcel to Evolution as Natural Selection.

I know this is a very unrepresentative sample of the population, but I despair when I read about creationists. Education today appears to be in a horrific state of devolution.

When you evolutionists realize the one missing link in your theory is,well, still missing.
You have no argument.Quit wasting everyone's time.
"The evidence supports evolution."Got this off the page.
What evidence? We have not seen one shred of evidence as of yet.Not one transitional fossil, not one "missing link".
C'mone dude, show me the meat and potatoes of evolution.I'm not talking about mathematical equations that show alleged chemical compositions. You stated that creationism is not science and is laughable. The burden of proof is on you,and not the creationists. The truth probably is that out of those 480,000 scientists,99 percent of them are probably too busy trying to disprove God than doing real research to help the human race.Sounds like a terrible waste of talent.
Prove evolution correct. You can't do it.
