I am 22 f india.

My parents and family is quite conservative. So, As soon as i finished studying, they started looking for a husband for me.

They have a few men in mind but they've not yet decided which man exactly they want me married to. That they'll decide after meeting the parents of the men.

is an arranged marriage - so I wont be able to find out how the man is or get to know hium before marriage. My parents are quite against that.

Since I'm not being given the choice, I need them to make the best choice possible. Please give me a prayer to guide them to make the right choice for me

I don't mean to seem dismissive of your culture but such a primitive attempt to remove free-will from something as vital as a supposedly life-long relationship is quite sad.

Love should happen naturally and not be decided by those around you.

I won't pray but I do wish you luck.

I know others will be outraged that this happens still in our world. And for the most part I am very happy I am not in your culture, however; arranged marriages have been a reality for centuries and some have been very happy & successful.
I will pray that the man your parents are considering is a good man, who believes in God and will love you any children you might have.
Know this- trust in God, He will do what is the best for you- according to His will.

Who ever your parents choose for you, make sure that you dont' leave God at the alter, but invite Him into your marriage after you leave the ceremony. Allow Him to be the head of your house hold and your guide in life, and you will be blessed.

Father,
I am not familar with such customes as parents choosing their daughters spouce, but I place this young woman's life into your loving and caring hands. Help these parents choose what is best for their precious daughter, and that is is done all according to your perfect will. In the precious name of Jesus, amen

Let me pray for you now, pls just for a minute with me.

Dear Lord Jesus,

I ask that you bless this daughter in a mighty way. Keep her faith strong. Blessed her with all her desire in her heart about her future husband and married life. Specially the guidance for the right choice by her parents . So that she may glorify your name Lord. You know these things Lord. You love us so much Lord. Once again, Lord, I ask that you help her to stay strong in her faith. I pray in Jesus' Holy Name, Amen.

I will pray for you.....don't worried. But we already past the 21 century girl. Break with that cultural conservative in the box parents fascist thing old thinking......because most of the Indians are behind Latins or Blondie's buts here in the USA because they have one that they don't choose or don't love......

I understand your culture, sort of. My husband is half Indian. But this is the man you have to spend the rest of your life with. Break away from your parents and do whats best for you? Why is being happy dishonoing your family? Is it legal for you to marry who you want?

You haven't got a prayer. Run, get away from any religion or society that still practices this barbaric custom.
