I can understand why men cheat..... They simply cant control the urges that their raging hormones produce. But if women arent overcome by a dieing urge to just have sex from hormones, why do they cheat? My bets are revenge, self esteem issues etc. what do you think

Well yes, usually a man will cheat for sexual gratification, conquest or to fulfill what he is no longer getting at home.
Women usually cheat for a deeper reason, they usually start it out as an "emotional" affair. Gettign the attention that they no longer get at home, but it eventually turns into a physical affair also.
Men have no problem cheating, and then cheating again with someone else.
But women usually only cheat with one guy, and it is a much more intimate and personal thing.

While some of the prior reasons may be good, I want to point out something.
There are women and men who are not cut out for monogamy. They may be very happy with their current relationship but are not made in the monogamous mold. I've know of several women who were married or in a relationship and fallen in love with someone else. They still loved their bf/husband, but were also in love with someone else. The alternatives are doing nothing (extremely difficult), cheating, or being open, honest, and negotiating an open relationship.
In our current culture, there are very few alternatives to cheating, and none accepted.
Two alternatives to cheating (by which I mean breaking the agreed upon rules of fidelity) are swinging and polyamory.
Swinging generally involves both partners and is primarily about the sex.
Polyamory may involve both partners together, or separately and is usually more about longer-term romantic involvements which may or may not include sex. One strict criteria is that all involved know about the arrangements and are in agreement.

I personally would never cheat, but some possible reasons may be...
1. They are not happy with their relationship (emotionally)
2. The sex sucks.
3. They are just hoes
4. They want to get revenge for being cheated on, treated bad, etc.
5. It makes them feel more "wanted".
I personally feel these reasons are crappy reasons to cheat on someone, but other people obviously do not share my views.
in case...
1. Just break up
2. Work on your sex together or just break up
3. Break up because you don't deserve a boyfriend
4. Learn to deal with your past and either get past it or let the guy go
5. Make your boyfriend want you more, just break up, or get some self esteem in another way.
Am I the only person that thinks you should just cut your loses and break up with the person if they are not satisfying you (emotionally), rather than CHEATING on them? If you "just can't leave them", then why don't you just try talking with the person and try to FIX things rather than make them worse?

They are trying to find an 0rgasm ! I try, and 99% of the time succeed, at making a woman climax, but alot of men dont. Most guys want 1 thing, to bust a load. Women want just 1 thing, to finally get off from a real dickie-do instead of a dildo!
Either that, or they are looking for the emotional attachment their men dont give them.

I would guess for emotional needs. but men are not only about sex either
it varies by person, the only girl I know who cheats did it just for sex.

well yes wemon can cheat and they do it out of spite that they may not get caught doing it and if they don't then they keep it up. some do it because they know that their man are doing it behind their back so to get back at them they do it . and if i am can do so can wemon do it .

maybe they are not getting the love and attention they shuld be getting..
or either they are bored with thier current love life..or relationship
woman always want to be excited...and when they never get this in their present relationship...
they tend to seek it elsewhere...
