ok well my best friend lives in montclair. and so does his gf. i am not at all romantically in love with him. i love him like my brother. and i do like the gf. shes nice. but we can never hang out; so i just want him to call me once in a while. i dont bug them or say that they need to break up. im just sad that he doesnt make any time to call me...i mean at least once a week...its just kinda frustrating.

Back off and give them room.
Especially in the developing stages of a relationship, a gf may feel insecure if her bf is hanging around other women constantly. Or, get to know his girlfriend so that you all can hang out together. Let her know that you have no romantic interest in her guy.

I'm in the same boat. But I like to call it not talking to each other as much rather than paying attention to me. I told my best friend that I understand that she is a bit jealous but she has to understand that if something was to happen, it would have happened already and we're just friends. But if what you really mean is that the three of you hang out and he gives more attention to his girlfriend, then you need to back off because he's trying to make a relationship work and having a best friend of the opposite sex always trying to get more attention will ruin things for him. If that's the case...stop being so selfish.

Do you and the girl get along? If so, invite her to do something like shopping with you so you guys can get to know each other better and then later you all hang out together. If you don't get a long, talk to your friend about making some time you and him to hang out like you use to.
