"The expected effects of global warming are many and various, both for the environment and for human life. These effects include sea level rise, repercussions to agriculture, reductions in the ozone layer, increased intensity and frequency of extreme weather events, and the spread of disease. In some cases, the effects may already be manifest, although it is difficult to attribute specific incidents of natural phenomena to long-term global warming. Since the mid-1970s, the total power of hurricanes has increased markedly because they have been more intense and have lasted longer; in addition, there has been a high correlation of hurricane power with tropical sea-surface temperature[35][1]. In spite of such strong evidence, the relationship between global warming and hurricanes is still being debated. [36][37] A draft statement by the World Meteorological Organization acknowledges the differing viewpoints on this issue [38].

The extent and probability of these consequences is a matter of considerable uncertainty. A summary of probable effects and recent understanding can be found in the report of the IPCC Working Group II [39]. Some scientists have concluded global warming is already causing death and disease across the world through flooding, environmental destruction, heat waves and other extreme weather events. All natural desasters will get worse and worse until it wipe out most of the species whom contribute to the global warming. It is mother nature's way to clean out her system and start over again. First rise the ocean level to herd the humans into tighter groups in order for one natural disaster to "get as many as possible" in one go.
Check out the the movie about this issue, it makes statements on the future of the earth if we continue as we are doing now. I can't remember the movie title but the advert show the only the arm of the Statue of Liberty sticking out from the waves or snow.

Glaciers melt causing a rise in sea level and drowning coastal cities, weather patterns become more severe and we get more Katrinas (this one you can see a lot of evidence of right now), species range shifts, coral bleaching, collapse of planktonic based food chains and marine food chains, and that's a conservative estimate of the bad things we are seeing, already.
Also, shifting disease vectors.
Gloobal warming is a big bad, and it's definitely happenning. Another possibility which is showing great potential is increasing acidification of the world's oceans due to increased carbon dioxide content, followed by dissolution of calcareous shelled animals.

not a thing. Funny part is that Al Gore takes a plane across the country talking about global warming, but his plane's jet fuel is adding to the problem!
