I would think that you are going through al ist of emotions including anger, maybe regret or other emotions based on what happened in your life. I suspect when it is time to cry it will all come out. Don't force the cry!!

You have to literally pull out all the stops. Its a path you take to get to crying, but the path is hindered by your caged up feelings. Your thoughts are telling you to push those feelings away, you subconsciously deny the ramifications involved, and downplay how it affects (or will affect) your personal life. When you get to the point in time where you are able to share with yourself the real consequences and just let go, you will cry. Crying is about letting go and you might think that doing so is a sign of weakness. Do you want to beat your bossy side? Sounds like you do or you wouldn't have asked how. Good luck.

Different people deal with their pain differently. Probably crying is not your way to deal with your pain. Maybe you can try talking to someone who understand you about your problem, and that way, you can really let it out. Or, probably you could try something else, like screaming on top of your lungs at a deserted place or dance all night long, run as fast and as hard as you could til you feel exhausted, even bungee jumping. Why not? You only get to live once, so why not make the most of it? Whatever you feel like doing, just do it! Let it out! Just don't do anything like drugs or alcohol though, ok?

Find another outlet to vent the pain- talk w/trusted friends and family, job, swim, scream silently in the shower- all can be just as satisfying as a good cry.

Sometimes we can't cry because we are in shock. We often times have to go through hard times to learn from our experiences and appreciate what we have. DOn't worry--when you're ready-you will cry a river.

crying is a big waste of time and energy.
if you spend over ten minutes a DAY fretting about someting, that's too much.
go to home depot, buy some lumber, build a bridge...
and GET OVER IT.
whatever happened to you... so what, now what?
so you were held hostage taken away and tied up and held for ransom, everybody has to fight to be free.
