With thirteen daughters, YOU should be the one in pain. You're real smart, lady, asking a stinking Yahoo group for medical advice. Are you retarded?

She may have appendicitis. The early symptoms are similar to severe menstrual cramps. Get her in to the doctor as soon as possible to check this out!

I ignored my own appendicitis for nearly a week because I thought it was just cramps... the appendix ended up rupturing, causing some internal damage and making recovery from surgery more complicated than necessary.

Don't wait!

If pain gets severe I would have her checked for appendicitis. Is she sick to her stomach? Nervous or upset about something? Write down your questions for the Dr. so U wont forget everything u and your daughter want to ask tomorrow.

It could be related to her menstrual cycle, as in Endometriosis. I had this problem when I was her age, and it caused severe pain. However, it was easily taken care of by laser surgery. If the pain comes in cycles like her period, you may want to ask her doctor to check her for this condition.

It's not safe to make guesses at this point. Try a heating pad and Tylenol for the pain. Good luck!
