We been seeing each other for about 6 months now, and I have only one issue he and his friends are always speaking there language around me even though they are all fluent in English.
What should I do, confront him or leave it alone?

Being cut out of the conversation is tough on you. He should already understand that not including you in discussions is rude.

Ask him politely to speak English so you will be able to understand conversations. If he does not heed your request then you have to think long and hard about why he is not sensitive to your feelings. You can, as well, show him you are interested in learning his language but if he persists in speaking his native tongue so as to preempt you from conversations then perhaps the pairing is not to be.

My husband is French. When he and his friends are having conversations and they wish to speak in French; they always ask me if I mind if they speak in their language and I approve or disapprove. They are constantly conscious of me and try to include me in their conversations. This is just good manners.

If I were you I would do some research on the way women are treated in Ghana.

You could either learn to speak his language or leave him because he could be ill speaking you with his friends. It is all about the way you feel about him. Do you think that this one flaw is enough for you to break up with him? If it is then go ahead.
I am sure that there are ways to get around a language barrier.

Even if he spoke in English, you should allow friends to communicate without knowing every word. If the relationship is good and he treats you like an angel..what's the problem. They are probably comfortable speaking the language they grew up using.

He should be speaking English as a courtesy to you. Even if his friends will not do it, he should do all his talking in English. Why have you there if you can't be part of the conversation? If he doesn't get it, do it to him so he knows how it feels, he probably wont like it.
