My boyfriend hates talk about sex with me and hates it when I try to do anything sexy, wear lingere, change up the sex routine, etc. Is it me, or are some guys just like this?

Hate to say it but sounds like he is not into you. I am a guy and I love it when my g/f does sexy stuff.

Some PEOPLE are like that.
May have to do with how he was raised.

A certain religion, which I shall not name but it's very popular and has it's own schools...can really mess you up sexually. I won't even date people who were raised in those religious schools because my past experiences have been so bad.

Then again, it could just be an individual thing. I have a close relative who is very conservative in that way and we were raised in a very loose and casual environment. He married a woman who is also very uncomfortable with sex and sexuality (told me once that breast feeding seemed "unnatural") and they have a great marraige.

It's important that you be happy and satisfied in that regard in a romantic relationship. If he won't talk about is, you're kind of stuck.

Strange indeed, is this recent or has it been going on since you have been together? Once of the most important aspects of any relationship is communication, sex is up there too. If you can't do either then it may be a sign of trouble down the road. Good Luck!

I smell fishy behavior. He is either not interested in you or He is definitely interested in someone else. What average american male has no desire to see a woman he dating in sexy lingerie or have sex with? I would say none. Now is the time to sit and have an indepth discussion about your concerns. Talk now or suffer later..it's your choice.

It could be a lot of things. He might have a poor misinterpretation of sexy being slutty. He could be not-confident. He could not be into you. He could be gay. He could be like my brother who think a woman is hotter when she isn't trying so hard. He prefers sweat pants and no makeup on an attractive girl rather too much makeup and revealing clothing on a decent but not gorgeous girl.

Some men see sex as something dirty and that any woman who seems to preoccupied with it is also dirty or trampy. You probably need to ask him what he thinks about a woman who like to have sex. Somewhere along the line someone has convinced him that women aren't supposed to talk about it. He needs to realize that it is ok for women to enjoy, experiment and initiate intimacy.

i think that its just you no offense. maybe he is having some trouble getting used to you and how you want to feel / show him you're sexy. give him some time and if that doesn't work than its probably just you and find someone better. guys love it when their girlfriends are sexy that's what turns them on maybe its just him he's different from the rest.

Not come across a guy like that myself, could he be trying to extricate himself from this relationship? Or is he just shy and can't talk about these things?

I never met a guy like that. Maybe he's gay and is too afraid to come out. And I am saying this with all honesty.
