I just met this a guy through my best friends fiance, and hes really handsome, but hes really shy. Should I make the first move?

yes you definitely should. guy's secretly love It when a woman takes charge. besides if he is shy, he might just think that you don't want him to make a move, if you don't want to, then try and make it obvious that you want him to. Good Luck!

It depends on what you first move is. If you have not known this guy long then it is best to wait until you have known him long enough to determine that, making a first move something can make you or break you. Traditionally if you are traditional is that when the guy has known you enough he usually makes the first move whether on a first date or after six months when he is comfortable. hope this helps.

I personally had make the first move many times and it had turned to be worst.. maybe it's my phisical looks, until now my boyfriend and I have been together for a year and 4 months and I was the one who made the first move and it turned to be great.. but if you still think you should make the forst move than go for it!! Life's too short to worry about "OLD traditions." Especially now-a-days in this fast past world. If you're strong enough to ignore the criticisms that you're probably expecting to hear by making the first move, then by all means, make it. "Carpe Diem!" Consider this a test to see how strong of a woman you really are.
