He was my first love when I was 13. We've stayed close ever since and even though at times our relationship was totally sexual, it never ruined anything, only made it hotter! Now, that we are grown up, he wants to get back together, PLEASE, some advice from those with experience and please only serious inquiries!

I had the same kind of relationship with my now boyfriend. We dated at 16 lost touch then reconnected four and a halph years ago. I love him to death and we have two children now we just haven't gotten married yet. I say go for it you are both mature enough to handle it if it doesn't work out and if you've known each other this long I would say you could still be friends if it doesn't work out. The best relationships start as being best friends GOOD LUCK!!!

You need to give consideration to the reason why the only thing you had in common was a sexual relationship and why you broke up.
If you think that you could live with that then by all means go ahead.

well first things first you dont have to have a sexual relationship sometimes when you dont have one like that than you can really get to know the person better and know his ups and downs and really get to see him for who he is on the inside. but i would give it another chance and take it slow and get to know him but not in a sexual way in kinda of like a friendship way

You should get back together with him. I mean it was love way back when so try it again. and just because it was really sexual but things stayed good you should see how it goes this time.

even though you might think you knoe what it was, you were 13 and hadnt experienced enough to know what love was..... why dont you want to get back with him??? he could have become the man you would want to be with for the rest of you life....

you probably will have to ask your self what you want,then let him know.thats if youn are not involved and you think you could have something good with this person.first love never dies but ask your self if this will be good for you although you loved him.

IT FAILED THE FIRST TIME FOR A REASON IF YOU CAN GET PAST OR WORK THROUGH WHY IT FAILED THE FIRST TIME AND YOU HAVE FEELINGS FOR HIM AS WELL AS HIM HAVING THEM FOR YOU THEN HEY GO FOR IT. JUST MAKE SURE THATS IT NOT ALL ABOUT SEX AGAIN....
