Do you want your children to believe what you tell them ?
Then why tell them lies about a Santa Claus or the Tooth Fairy or the Easter Bunny ?
What is wrong with the truth?
If you lie to your children its your own fault if they don't listen to you when they are older.

Good question! My children do know that Santa is not real nor the tooth fairy- infact my daughter put her tooth that fell out under her pillow a week ago and I still put money under her pillow but she knows that I do it- and I had forgotton to, and so the next morning she said "mom!!" hehe- she knows that God is real and that He is the reason we celebrate Christmas and Easter and Thanksgiving....and we do not celebrate Halloween- we do a Harvest party. Many will joke about Santa- and they joke about Him but they know He is not real. I am glad they know the true meaning of Christmas- and yes I want to raise them to Love the Lord with all their hearts, soul, mind and strength....

whats wrong with the fairy tale stories?? children will learn so early in life that life is not a fairy tale story, let them be children and believe, and I'm now so sad,,, NO SANTA, NO TOOTH FAIRY,, AND NO EASTER BUNNY??.. if you don't believe you shouldn't get nothin, my kids believe (older teens), they have to believe or they get nothing, just think of the memories they will have when they get older on how us parents always tried to make sure the fairy tale people came to make their holidays special, Have a great holiday season,, and remember to BELIEVE,,
