that really sounds like this female i used to know a couple of years ago.(friend) she slept around and partied like she was in her ealry 20's got high got drunk all the time. she had kids that she never saw cause she was seperated and the kids were with the dad. she always cried and complained that she missed her kids and she had no chances to be with them, but she never tried or put effort into it. i think that she was self centered and trying to relive the times she may have not had a chance to go through cause of the kids, but at the same time she shouldnt have gone as far as she did. it was immature of her to put herself b4 her kids. no responsible adult should ever do that. it's not that she's crazy, it's just that she doeasnt really think about or actions or consider her consequences which she should really look deep inside herself to figure out how she can change for the better, cause lectoring her or yelling at her will only cause her to do it more cause your belittling her and she'll block it out. but if u actually have adep conversation and let her express her feelings withought demeaning or yelling then u may just get through to her.

if she is bipolar then she is not well, im bipolar myself. It sounds like she is in a manic phase from her behaviour, which is reckless. She is not any of the things you suggested and it is ignorant to think so.Read up on bipolar. she is unwell and needs help, if she is not already medicated or receiving any
