If you have to ask the general public on how you know if she's the one that you want to spend the rest of your life with then not only are you not ready for that much commitment she's not the one for you. You should not have to ask strangers if she's the one for you. You will know from the feelings you get when you're with her and when you're not if she's the one for you.

Love is grand, but not enough. Do you share the same values/opinions on: religion, raising children, financial goals, house chore responsibilities, spending time with friends, vacations, holidays, sex, communication, career goals, exercise/health habits? These are things that can cause disharmony in a relationship. It is best to explore these issues before getting married.
