I wouldn't do it if you had other stamps available, but since you don't, I don't see the harm in it. If someone is grieving the loss of a loved one, the last thing they are going to be doing anyway is examining the stamp you have put on their mail. I don't ever look at the stamps on my mail anyway. Can't imagine doing it in such a state.

I agree with "MOM"'s answer! If someone is grieving a loss right now, they may find a cute stamp on a sympathy card to be you saying that you really were not feeling their pain and anguish in a serious manner. (BTW, I recommend you give her the 10 points! Excellent answer!).

No, it may cheer them up. If they're going to be offended by the stamp you put on the card then that's wrong. They're lucky to have a friend like you that will send them a card.

It might offend the receiver. If your not in walking/driving range of a post office, or anywhere else that sells stamps, then it would be ok. They would understand. Hey, it's better than sending no letter at all.

convinced you truly might want to!! I received a wedding ceremony invitation some months decrease back without stamp on the rsvp card and that i presumed it change into very tacky. human beings locate it puzzling adequate to absolutely deliver contained in the cardboard and also you likely will decrease the responses mailed in with the aid of 0.5 in case you leave it to them to be responsible for it. I lined the stamps on ours.

well i personally didn't pay attention to the stamps. plus if you take the card to the post office they just stick whatever stamp they want to on it. so i don't know that they would even know you stuck it on there. plus i don't think they'd notice unless they are overly detail oriented.

It's very tacky. And the recipient could find it hurtful. Don't take the chance. Go to the PO and get something else. Better for it to be a day later than to be in poor taste.
