I was recently prescribed Topamax for epilepsy. I love the weight lose. I'm 20 pounds overweight. I hate the generalized state of confusion. I struggle to concentrate. I hold a position of great responsibility. My employer is aware of my newly aquired memory problems. They have been very forgiving. I have been less forgiving of myself. What has always made me among the best in my field has been my ability to project the needs of my firm. I'm not keeping up. What am I going to do?

It's been nearly a year for me now on Topamax (for Migraines) and the "fog" has lifted gradually.

You will probably get better over time. I tried it for weight loss and couldn't get used to not being able to drink Cokes. They taste horrible. That was the only reason I couldn't take it.
