Robert Gates, New Secretary of Defense, says U.S. is not winning Iraq war By ROBERT BURNS, AP Military Writer

WASHINGTON - Robert Gates, the White House choice to be the next defense secretary, conceded Tuesday that the United States is not winning the war in Iraq and warned that if that country is not stabilized in the next year or two it could lead to a "regional conflagration." The United States is not on a course to win he says.

Remember, In Vietnam we killed more of the enemy that they killed of us but we still lost the war.

"The United States is not on a course to win he says" is NOT in the actual article. Many other important things in the article are left out because it doesn't support the cause of Erudite. To read the entire article, check out the source link.

Erudite is the only one laughing about the war in Iraq. He gets off on seeing Americans die. He's proved that over and over. He constantly bashes the Marines. The truth is, he not only hates the military, but he hates America as well. He lies and fabricates things to try to get pity and have people join his cause. He's a very sick person that's filled with hate. Probably because he's such a failure and has to hide behind the computer desk so he can feel like someone important.

We CAN and we WILL win this war, especially if you non-believers go find a deep hole to crawl in and quit bringing morale down.

Here we go again with the habitual liar named erudite. Adding fabrications into the copyrighted article to slant things to his warped agenda.

The added fabrication (or ortherwise known as a lie) is:
"The United States is not on a course to win he says."

This was never said by Gates....

The article actually states, "said he is open to new ideas about correcting the U.S. course in Iraq. He said the war would be his highest priority if confirmed as expected."

Once again... erudite caught in one of his numerous lies....

And once again... the link to the ACTUAL UNFABRICATED article is in my source section

We are only "not winning" because Maliki and his cohorts won't step up and take some responsibility. Now he wants to involve Iran and Syria...oh please.
We have been undermined by this fool...I say let the commanders take the reigns. Bush can't micromanage this war anymore.

Hmm... only a ungrateful brat like you would laugh over the bodies of thousands as if it were some kind of theoretical University-level debate course.

Who says we are losing a war. I have been to Iraq twice and am in the USMC and I can tell you we are not losing. The kill ratio is a lot more of them to us. Its just that the media wont tell you that.

Because it's funny. The USA has no business being in Iraq. Don't you know that the USA being there is only making the confilcts in Iraq worse instead of better? Plus they don't even want us in their country!
