I got into a verbal fight with her husband over an insident with their brat. Their brat appareantly heard one of my phone conversations that I was having with some Broad and he repeated what I said. His father didn't think it was appropriate for me to talk like that because it would rub off on their brat, but I don't think it was appropriate of his brat to listen in on my conversations. He said that Chicks are not Chicks or Broads and that I shouldn't say that they need to know their place, he said that's not what he wants for his brat, and I said he needs to stop being a wuss and be a man. My sister got mad at me too, and now she's calling me to make amends, because we are family, I really could care less, but how do I act as if I cared?

Just by reading your question, it isn't hard to see why your sister and brother-in -law are mad at you. You don't know how to spell, or how to be respectful to other people either in person or on the phone. You have no class and if I was your sister, I wouldn't want to make up with you until you genuinely wanted to apologize for your actions. As an uncle to their child, you should set an example for him/her. If you think your actions make you a man, then you are sadly mistaken. I hope your sister sees what you have written and washes her hands of you.
Someday you will regret your actions, you only have one family and they love you unconditionly but they do deserve respect, just as you would expect the same.
GROW UP!!!!!

Truth is it is all about respect. Your this BRATS uncle, so you should want to instill respect to this child. I suggest you apologize to your sister and tell her the whole thing got blowin out of proportion. Let her know that you did not realize the child was in the room, and that if you knew he was you would never had talked that way. Then apologize to her husband for the same thing.

Just move away and break off all contact with your sister and her family. I'm quite sure that's the best thing that you personally can do considering the circumstances.
