Im sorry but why dont you go to a college is not that bad and take more time with your hair i know it is quite pricy and is a average value but at college you can have the same treatment for £30 if nervous go for small treatments until you know you will be ok.

And there I was thinking that blokes were a little crazy to pay 40 quid to watch a football match! No wonder hairdressers can prance around in pink convertibles. :- )

It sounds like excellent value to me but I'm in the west end of London...You should be able to answer that question yourself...Are you happy with the results, I mean really really happy? if so then I would say a definate yes.
We get clobbered around £60 just for a haircut!!

Yeah mine is usually around 100 for a cut and highlights, my hair is really long though

If you are in London, that sounds about right. I used to pay £70, but that was because I knew my hairdresser and his boss pretty well, so he used to give me a bit of a discount
