I have a computer im thinking about selling and i don't want my information to get out,...i only have one copy of windows working for this machine so i dont want to crash it,...where is it in D.O.S or anywhere that i can look to make sure files i deleted are removed permanently ?

The best utility to do this is eraser, If you are selling the computer do a 35 times erase of your hard drives free space. If you're going to sell it, why not just do a fresh install of Windows XP and format the hard drive?
