Mine is just a boring traditional haircut. But I have a friend who picks an accent of the day and a non traditional job to talk about and discusses them endlessly while the barber asks questions.
It passes the time....and we all love to hear the stories later. Find humor when and where you can!

Yes I do like having my haircut, I not only get intelegent conversation from my barber but she is gorgeous too so you have the best of both worlds.
We dont talk about holidays, weather and crap like that we talk about music people (not mindless celebs either), and general things, so yes I DO like having my haircut.

i am a barber and i usually ask people what they are up to that day if i get a one word answer or no answer i think ok,,,, they don't want to talk and i just get on with the haircut in silence. i cant be @rsed trying to make conversation with people who don't appreciate the effort.
also if people are rude to me i get my revenge somehow!! usually a long bit left somewhere or a dodgy sideburn!!!!!!!!!!!!

My hairdressers knows me, Ive gone to him for the past 4 years and he knows i dont wanna talk about where ive been on holiday or what my plans for the weekend are!
Hairdressers is the only time I get to sit and relax and think in peace! I love going to get my hair cut, i love being pampered!

I have very long hair, so I only have it trimmed once a year, usually. I am not faminiar with the routine of hairdressers.
I believe in politeness and courtesy, though.

I usually start by asking the hairdresser why I should let him cut my hair when he obviously doesn't know what to do with his own.
Two things that really annoy me...hairdressers with 'bad' hair and dentists with awful teeth. It doesn't inspire much confidence.

i always go to cost cutters so i get a girl to do my hair. i always say, 'a hair wash and a hair cut'. those girls at cost cutters really have good hands. lol.
