Have you noticed people have been saying that exact same thing for 1000 years?

1669 was extra Revelation-esqe. So much so that 20,000 people burned themselves alive to keep the Antichrist from getting them.

I'm a Catholic, but I have to agree with the non-Christians on this one. People have been noticing all sorts of things that have been predicted in Revelations. Examples include Hitler being the Anti-Christ, great earthquakes, Hurricanes Rita and Katrina, 9/11, and tons of other things. All of those things are horrible and I can see where an "end-time" conclusion can be drawn but, and all Bible-based believers should know this, NO ONE knows when the Lord is returning. The only thing you need to know is that you should be prepared at all times for when Jesus does decide to return.

Quit worrying--worrying is a sin.

You bet. But this Revelation( new beginning ) as been going on since Jesus was ascended into Heaven. For the most part the Book of Revelation is about the Holy Mass among other prophecies.

Have you noticed that *none* of the things predicted in Revelation (not "revelations") are specific enough to actually describe ANY real events, but general enough so that you can twist any number of real-world events to fit? Have you noticed that the very first verse in Revelation says those things will "...shortly come to pass..."? Seems to me "shortly" ended 1,900 years or so ago from John's perspective...
Did you know that christian apocalyptics have been saying the exact same thing you just said for over 1,800 years? That christians in all eras have been convinced that the things in Revelation were happening in their own time, and the end was imminent...but that they were always wrong?

Here, I'll make a "prediction" for you, that will absolutely come true:

The 2008 elections in the US will be one of the most contentious in history, the country will be sharply divided, and the outcome disputed in the courts.

When that comes true, will you think I'm a prophet? Hey, that prediction above is more specific and descriptive than *any* in Revelation...
Will you accept me as a true prophet, or will you just understand that predictions about human nature really aren't that hard to make, and that it doesn't require god to make reasonable guesses that in the future there will be war, and conflict, fighting among humans, and other things -- because there always have been, and always will be :)

Predictions AFTER the fact are easy. Anybody can do it. Use Revelation (why do idiots always put an "s" on the end), to predict what will happen next week.

Yep

Along with other things in the Bible.

Considering it's 6,000 to 2,000 years old that's pretty interesting, however we also know that Jules Verne and H.G. Wells also made some timely predictions, but no where near 2,000 in advance!

"Sorry if the following answer offends you, in anyway directly, or indirectly. I have nothing against Christians, I just want to lay down the truth infront of them. And again sorry"

I don't think there is anyone that has read the whole bible with full understanding to it, that's still a chrisitian.... because how can someone read the whole bible inside out and still be a chrisitian when it has many contradictions and lies? [sorry if your offended]

Apart from contradictions....what do you call these?

Well according to our conversation tonight, it very well seems like it. Who knows though, you just gotta live your life. If it happens, well, it'll sure make 9/11 seem like small news wont it?

yes, He is coming.....be prepared....I believe with all my heart. Even if He doesn't return in my lifetime, I still believe, I don't know how long my lifetime will be, so I live it for HIM....those are my rewards!

Isaiah 55:6
6 Seek the LORD while he may be found;
call on him while he is near.
