On the patches, day 7 and I have had a cig!
Read all the bumf. Any good ideas. I am 62.

Try changing your routine. Next time a craving hits get a glass of water or go for a walk (not to the store). Keeping busy helps.
I chose to stop smoking the last week of August and it was hard. (My husband is a smoker), but I am doing okay and am still smoke free.
Maybe the patch is not for you, if you really want to not smoke and it happens again talk to your doctor. Maybe he or she can suggest something else.
I know where I live we had help lines where people are supposed to talk you out of smoking that cig you want.

chew alot of gum that what help my cousin and when she went a couple of weeks with out it the smell of cigarittes started to make her sick and that what stopped her from smoking. Plus you are to old to be smoking, did you know that everytime you smoke a CI it takes 7 mins of your life away.

Try chewing gum or exercise when you feel the need to light up again. That's what helped me to quit smoking.

depends on how long you have been on it, if its been so long, then you u need spiritaul help. why, because there is a saying that says when we have formed our habits, they end up forming us. if you have spent many years on it, then you need more that a change of habit. go see a pastor and talk with him, i can gaurantee you a positive change
