A lot of the muscles showing on a pit bull are genetically based, but if you want to define and tone, you'll have to exercise the dog.
If she is under a year in age, I would limit the amount of work you do with her since it can cause potential harm in later life.
For puppy safe activities, you can put a harness on her and let her pull (make sure you teach her that tugging is NOT okay in a normal collar for obedience, though - makes a world of difference!), using a flirt pole and romping in the yard doing normal play activities. Long, controlled walks will do good too.
If you're interested in doing the sport of weight pull, you can start now, but it needs to be very limited in weight (a 2 litter pop bottle with pebbles is enough).
Here are instructions on weight pull (and an excellent place to buy quality harnesses!) and how to make a flirt pole to assist you:

For now you can only let her play with other dogs or yourself to build muscle. Anything more strenuous shouldn't be done until she is fully grown (1.5-2 yr old). You can severely damage the dogs skeletal structure by doing pulling exercises before this time. Play tug-o-war with her and just let her romp around. If she is only a few months old you have no idea what her muscle structure will be yet.

If you have to ask that question, you just need quality food and exercise . Don`t try to get into any specialized "activities" as you can end up doing more harm than good. All shots and regular vet visits are a must if you want any dog to "look good" which is all you seem to be after. Dogs can be overworked, even APBT`s so start out slow and increase the "exercises" as the pup gets older. Good health is the most important thing , muscularity is really not important for your pet. Let the pup just be a pup, as she gets older and you (hopefully) gain more knowledge , then incorporate what you have learned into her workouts . Learn all you can and never try to cut corners.

For about 20 minutes per day have her run up and down hills to build hind end strength. Run laterally across the hill for her hips and to increase balance. Tug for neck and chest.

I have 19 pets so I know how to help you out. Just play fetch or give s/he walks and that will start to build leg muscle for your dog

Musclular is the way they are built...as long as you let her run and play when you can she'll grow into herself.
Keep in mind there are taller less stocky pits also so it just depends on what's in her genes.

She needs to play muscle building games and dragging things. Why do you want to make a jaw locking, all teeth, dog ALL MUSCLE?????Thats like taking a kids water gun and handing them a bazooka. Not saying you'll train it to be mean but things happen and how would you stop it if it were solid muscle and had one of your kids?

sounds like your in for trouble so keep that dog weak other wise youll end up in jail and the dog will end up dead. you only make dogs muscular when you are planning to fight them and thats just asking for trouble. so let the dog do its thing it will stay in shape as long as you dont over feed it. makeing him "work out" so to say is only for fighting and i swear youll regret it once your dog bites the first person because your dog WILL end up dead and if you dont end up in jail your gonna be paying so much money cause you were sued youd wish you were in jail. so dont "work out your dog"
