One summer 13 years ago I had just come out a long relationship that had kinda stifled me as a person so I wanted to live again without any worries or commitments.
I went out dancing every night with my girlfriends and met up one night with an old high school flame...he was looking good and I needed some "friendship" that night.
So we spent the summer in a very non-committed relationship. I still went out dancing with the girls every night and if either of us needed some "friendship" we always knew how to find each other.
Into September though things started to change, he wanted to get more serious and I could not see myself settling down with this guy...lots of fun and very pretty but not too bright. So I ended it.
Now do I think friends with benefits is a good thing? Yes, it was exactly what I needed that summer and I was 23 so I was more than able to make these kinds of decisions. But this kinda of relationship can hurt if one of the parties involved starts to get feelings for the other.
So proceed with caution and most of all...have fun as life is too short to be miserable!!

Yes it is. I have had a number of such relationships in the past and they were great. Still friends with two of the guys!

Great if you can pull it off. Put normally one of you will fall for the other one, and you will want to be more than friends!
