I think it is great. No commitment but yet someone who you can chill and be yourself and get benefits from time to time without it messing up your friendship. Just as long as it is mutual across the board I see nothing wrong with it. I honestly think that is the best thing until you feel as though you want to get committed to someone.

I think its ok as long as there are no connecting emotions. Women in particular relate sex to love quite frequently. So both parties need to make sure that there are little emotions involved or else you could quite possibly lose the friendship.

Absolutely works with the right kind of people. If you can stay emotionally de-tatched and incorporate sexual stress relief in a friendly relationship, more power to you.
Unfortunately, most people can't stay emotionally detached.

Its alright, i mean God knows i've done it a few times but i've realized that in the long run its just not worth it. it really does teach you things about yourself. Like i'm just not emotionally built to have that kind of relationship with someone.

It's probably not going to end well. One of you may end up with unwanted "feelings" that are not reciprocated and then what? If your friendship with this person is at all important to you, I wouldn't advise it.

I think its fine as long as both people know whats going on...and neither of you are cheating on someone. There's nothing wrong with uncommitted sex with a "friend."

Having your cake and eating it? Been there done that. It's not all that's it's crack out to be. Eventually, one of you will want more than just friendship/benefits.

I myself have never been in this sort of a situation, so I don't really have an opinion one way or another.

I agree with Cameron, most people can't help being emotionally attached.
