Do you think meeting someone on the internet (for friendship of more) is a good way to start off....? Cause I love meeting or talking to new people. Sometimes I just want to put my number out there and allow people to call or text me... and do it just because. Not to really date somebody, but the chance to talk to someone new. Is that so weird..?

Nope, not weird at all. Some prefer face to face conversation. Others are too shy for that. Conversation is just that, conversation. Good luck meeting people on the net. Just remember, the person you think you're talking to could be acting like that person just to play games with people. The only way to really get to know someone is meet them and be with them in person.

Not necessarily. Talking to new people via the internet can be fun. Just be careful always. Never disclose too much information and give it time before you do actually decide to meet someone. The other nice thing about the internet is you can talk and talk and talk to someone without ever having to worry about how they will judge you. They are just over the internet anyways ;)

My Space .com is the place for you!! It is safe, and you have endless opportunity to meet people with the same common interests as your self. You can also find people IN YOUR AREA by doing a search. I would start off slowly...as there are many sick wackos out there....I would NOT advise putting your phone number OUT THERE!!! I am sure with a little caution and good common sense, you will be able to make many awesome friendships on this site that could very possibly be "the start of something great!" Good luck to ya!

I joined www.myspace.com and have MET over 70 people this yr. Ive made some amazing friendships and had alot of fun. Its 100% free and fairly easy to do. You can search for people by name, location, gender, orientation, race, religion and much more. Its so fun. Good luck

and do you know that with your phone number they can trace you to your residence? man, use some common sense
