It just doesn't seem very Christianistical to me.

I've been told that it could be viewed as idolatry>placing emphasis on an item other than God. Everyone has a different view of this. I feel that it is a sentiment toward the Lord that no one can take away without removing the skin it's embedded in. I've seen strange tats...but a tastefully done cross would not seem that way to me.

The whole tattoo culture is played out. There is no rebellion or individuality whatsoever in getting a tattoo. Im 38 and I dont have one nor will I ever. The whole cross tattoo thing is absurd because most people have no idea what it means. They just get it to appear cool.

It depends on what the particular cross signifies. Some designs are used in cults.

As far as Christians are concerned, whether I got a cross tattoo or not, would not make me more or less righteous. When Father God looks at me, He sees the righteousness of Christ.

Actually, getting ANY SORT OF TATTOO is moronic, idiotic, stupid, gregarious, tribal and it just reveals how BACKWARD someone is.

People who get tattoed or pierced do so seeking to be accepted in a social group. Poor slobs.
