There is no rapture.

The rapture happens and it opens the door for the mystery of lawlessness, the abomination of desolation, to rule. Because the rapture consists of born again spirit filled Christians ready with the oil in their lamps full. They will attend the Lambs Marriage Supper.

Then those left behind will be under the rule of the beast and the false prophet, the antichrist, satan & the harlot of abomination.

Left behind Christians and those who convert to Christianity will have their heads cut off for not taking the mark of the beast or bowing to the beast. But they too will be part of the first resurrection. The first resurrection is complete when Jesus returns to defeat the antichrist and to reign for a 1000 years on earth. The meek shall inherit the Earth. The wrath of God will be poured out before the 1000 yrs, where God judges those who murder the Holy Saints & Prophets of the LORD God, and those who destroy Gods creation. Then is the return of Jesus Christ for the Millinnium.

After the millinnium, satan is loosed again, and people attack Gods people, and God burns those attacking Gods people. The devil is thrown in the lake of fire where the beast & false prophets are.

After that the present earth and heaven flees from the face of Him who judges the rest who are before His throne at the second resurrection. They are judged according to their works (conscience & land laws). Those whose names are not found written in the books of life are thrown into the lake of fire, the 2nd death.

Then there is the new heavens and the new earths. And there is the heavenly Jerusalem. All things are new and without the devils & antichrists who are in the lake of fire.

Errr ummm, the quote is actually "The meek shall inherit the Kingdom of Heaven".

Incidentally, the Rapture will not destroy Earth, but then the "meek" or the good ones will get taken away to Heaven.

Earth will remain as it is. And that's next to being in Hell, which is in the basement, anyways.

Merry Christmas!!!

There is no 'destroying of the Earth' connected to a rapture.

It might be what some say that's going to happen, but I suggest that they do not really know what the Bible says.

I'm not ever sure which rapture they are confused about.

The earth will not be destroyed right after the rapture. After the rapture comes the tribulation period. For those of you that will be left behind. It will be the single most horrible time on earth you will ever experience. It will literally be more than the human mind cam comprehend. Some here might find something like this to read.

You thought September 11th was bad.Multiply that by a million. You might ought to read the book of Revelations to get the full effect.Believe it or not, something tells me the pope will be a key player for a short time in the early events the tribulation period.

God does not destroy the earth at the rapture, and I think you are missing a much deeper meaning to "the meek inheriting the earth".

It never ceases to amaze me the lack of true knowledge and understanding of the Scripture, so plainly written in the New Testament, especially with all the good commentaries on the Bible available to us. A fast condensation of the end times are: first, there will be a rapture of the saints (church), in which the Lord will come back and with a great shout, raise the sleeping saints, then take up those saints who are yet alive. We will go to heaven with Him while the tribulation of seven years happens down here. Then, He will return to set up his Kingdom on earth for 1000 years (the millenium). The saints will rule with Jesus during this time of peace, the devil will have been bound and kept in the bottomless pit until the end of the 1000 year period. Then he will be released for one last time. All the forces of evil will come together to do battle at Armagedon, but the force of good (the Lord) will defeat them and the earth will then be destroyed with all the evil with it. Then a NEW heaven and earth will be made, to last all of eternity, with all the saints and the Lord, living in the new city of Jerusalem which comes down from heaven to be on the new earth. Then there will be the peace, and joy unspeakable, with pure happiness forever, with no darkness (night) because the light of God will shine forever. No body knows the joys that await the redeemed at this time, so we look foreward with great anticipation, but we are in no hurry to get there, don't you know. We should be too busy here, now, doing God's will for our lives to be in a big hurry to leave. Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord! God bless.

God will not destroy the earth,it is established to last forever. Only those who ruined the earth will be destroyed. Remember the time of Noah? Only wicked will be eliminated, the earth and those who do the will of God remains(Psalm 37:9-11) and will live forever on earth.

Church Teaching: God is going to destroy the earth.
Church Teaching: The rapture will happen.
Bible Teaching: The earth is God's creation and it is good. It will remain forever.
Bible Teaching: The meek will inherit the earth and they will live forever upon it.
HMMMMMMMMMMMM--Shall we believe God or man??????
I choose God.

You miss the true interpretation of the New Testament. It's focus is primarily on the spiritual rather than the physical. Read it in Revelation 21:1-4:

"Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away."

See, this is just another case of somebody not know what they are talking about. The Bible does not say that God will destroy the earth, but that Jesus will come and establish His kingdom. Get a Bible and CAREFULLY read Revelations. God loves you.
