Cats love grass. Helps their stomach digest properly. Has great nutrition for them as well. The jumping thing...thats just one thing they love to do, and they are great at it. Maybe your cat just loves the taste of the grass over the fence better. Who knows, cats are fun, but strange animals. Enjoy them.

Cats love grass. My cat gets excited when I buy and grow the cat grass for him. I have also tried wheat grass, which you can find in the produce section. I have to hide it from my cat or he would eat it all at once. I usually cut several blades at a time for him to eat. You can find the cat grass at pet stores or I have found it at Target, if you want to try feeding him his own grass rather than you neighbor's

cat's have to eat grass so they don't get sick and their digestive tract stays proper, as for jumping over the fence... maybe he just thinks that's part of his property too...

the cat could be missing something in his diet. the jumping on the other hand maybe you should get him into some kind of sport.
