Could be that the pipes going to the bathroom are going bad. The water might be picking up rust or minerals on its way to the bathroom tap.

i think its because the kitchen is linked directly to the water supply, while in the bathroom (especially on the other side of the house) it takes longer to travel through all the house pipes, and being there since the house was built that can be a long time.

i think my bathroom water tastes better unless i get the kitchen water out of the filter.

i agree with wackyblue. i like the bathroom water better. but i don't think there's any real reason why it should taste any different. maybe it's a mental thing.
