I am doing the Menorah thing...When does it start & what is the focus of each candle? What should I say? I want to do it with my family this year to learn Jewish heratige.

Good for you. Chanukah is celebrated from sunset on December 15th to sunset of December 22nd. Don't forget to fry up some potato latkes for the kids to try.
