"No Religion" is by definition not a religion.
However, I wouldn't mind much if religion suddenly disappeared from the face of the earth.

I wouldn't say so.
A religion is a set of beliefs.
You can say atheism is a religion because *that* is a set of beliefs but no religion would a set of NO beliefs and so not a religion in of itself.
