"No Religion" is by definition not a religion.
However, I wouldn't mind much if religion suddenly disappeared from the face of the earth.

How is advocating removing peoples' religions any better or different than certain folks trying to impose their religions on others?

I wouldn't say so.
A religion is a set of beliefs.
You can say atheism is a religion because *that* is a set of beliefs but no religion would a set of NO beliefs and so not a religion in of itself.
