Consider what stores are in their area and get them a giftcard. I never met someone who couldn't use a giftcard to Target.

The best gift we ever got for our wedding was an unusual addition to the gift pile. A Home Depot gift card. I had never even considered it as a potential gift, but after I saw it I wondered why I hadn't thought of it before. There are ALWAYS things a couple needs to fix in their house, a room to be painted, a faucet to fix a light fixture to replace, a garden to plant. Why not help them out with those things?
It really did wonders for our house and it was the BEST wedding gift we got. I'm going to remember that next time I go to a wedding.

Money is good, but why not something creative. Do they like to drink? Try getting some homemade tomato juice, (you can find it at a market), a bottle of nice vodka, nice glasses, and some tabasco sauce and other spices. Put them all in a basket and there is a creative gift. You can do the same thing with coffee, tea, or basically any drink that they may like. You can also stick a gift card in the basket too, maybe to a restaurant that they like, or a coffee shop. They would really appreciate the creativity!

Like everyone says, GIFT CARD! but try giving a card to a restaurant, somewhere nice, perhaps their favorite place or somewhere they haven't been before. As a new couple they want to try new things and find their "special place",maybe the one you choose will be it. Plus as a new wife/bride she wont want to start messing with her wonderful dishes just yet,let her and her hubby blow off some of that wedding steam and give them the gift of a night out.

The best wedding gift we got was the simplest thing, but meant the most to us - it's this beautiful frame with our wedding invitation inside of it. We still have it hanging up almost five years later. :)

Give them each equal gift cards form a really bizarre store or bazaar store. Teehee.. You know, the store they'd probably not waste their own money in, but would still enjoy the product. You know, that quaint little, or big, shop with . . .
No one has everything for their house they want...

Money in a card is the best. Since they have no bridal registry, money is probably what they are expecting anyway. $50 in a card is your best bet.

If going on a honeymoon, travelers cheques are kinda nice...keeps you from spending before the vacation and easily replaced if misplaced or stolen.
Stock certificates are nice as well.

Start looking at "little" luxuries. They may have everything they need, but who couldn't use a set of nice champagne/wine/martini glasses etc., or crystal "occasion" candelabras, or nice picture frames for their wedding pics, you get the picture

A card with cash in it ( that they could possible spend when they are on their honeymoon) or a gift card.
