i am doing a research paper on cancer and i need a topic. examples of things im looking for is like cancer from tanning beds or microwaves. thanks for the help.

If you want to be controversial. You might want to look at aspartame and cancer. A recent publication in italy showed a link between lymphoma & Leukaemia in rats and intake of aspartame. an interesting point here is that most evidence and research for aspartame has either been sponsored by the companies that make the chemical or by companies wanting to use it. The FDA has said the product is safe but it would be interesting to do a review of the literature. Otherwise I think HPV infection is a good one to go with as it not only causes cervical cancer, but also Penile cancer, and links with anal cancers, you could also discuss the vaccine and the use in children before they become sexually active.

you might want to look into birth control pills causing cancer and other forms of birth control for women...
I read somewhere that birth control pills are associated with cancer now....
and there's a new thing for woman that is a sign of cervix cancer..you'll have to watch tv for the commercial...
also..SMOKING.
there's many cancers though....so you'll have to research them all
