i really like this boy and he likes me. i just recently asked him out and he said no because he didn't wanna hurt me later on. i mean, i still like him and i know we have something special, but why would he say no when i know later on, after it, we'll still be friends. can someone help me?

He likes as friend a cherishes you as a friend--he is afraid that if you two got together and it did not work out--the friendship would be lost too. Just be friends and let it bewhat it is--maybe one day it'll be more--if not--you'll always have your friendship.

your friend really values your friendship and he dont want to settle down right now so if he were to date you he might hurt you by seeing other people and he would rather keep you as a friend rather than see the hurt that would be in your eyes after finding out about his hmmmmmm lets say social relationship circle

It sounds like to me that he might have comentmit problems. As hard as it might be. You need to talk to him and ask him why he says that. That is the only way to truly find out what he means by it. So just try your best and ask him.

He might like you, but doesn't want a relationship. Men are weird like that. Just be his friend and see where it goes. It might work out or you might find another boy you like if he doesn't step up to the plate.

sounds like a personal problem to me. j/k. i resently went through the same thing. except the guy was my b/f. trust what he said u don't want 2 be hurt. it feels really bad. :(

hun...he may hav honestly jus not been wanting a relationship with u....or he may hav stronger feelings for sum1 else. he knows that eventually he'l break ur heart n he cares about u enuff 2 not wanna lead u on n hurt u.appreciate wat he;s done, n move on...ul find sum1 amazingly perfect 4 u, i kno it =)!!
