It has been reported that 3 out of 10 illegals coming into our nation are from the Middle East....do you agree with this? With that, do we have a huge security issue in our nation while going through a lot of "fluff" ssecurity at the airport?

My own personal opinion is that they are wanting us to become accustomed to more invasive searches of our lives. I don't think it takes a brain child to figure that there are numerous ways and means to carry out a terror activity. If I was successfully robbed and they used the front door......I could put floor to ceiling deadbolts.....but I'm not safe if I leave the backdoor and windows open. I mean how often to football players successfully play the same play over over in a row and still have it work? Not securing our borders and ports is a real security threat.

Security is stricter at the airports because terrorist are trying to blow up airplanes and not the border. Although logic would say if you prohibit them from entering the country, you should have less to worry about at the airport. However, it is not just the illegals you have to worry about nor can you stop all illegal entry. So it is best to maintain tight security at the airports. The security should equal to everyone though. Because of the fear of racial profiling, the most likely terrorist are not subject to the random checks and those the security is flawed.
Terrorist seem to be focused on airplanes. It won't take long for them to focus elsewhere. I won't say where because it might give some ideas, but there are plenty of targets that will have Americans scared to death more so than ever.

Yeah and Mexico approves these people for visas. Mexico needs to adopt a stronger criteria for who they let in as well. Obviously there are a whole lot of people besides Mexican nationals pouring into the USA illegally. I think Mexico needs to share some responsibility for letting their visitors sneak across.
