Humour is generally frowned upon on Yahoo! Answers.

' who have no sense of humour?'...
Everyone has a sense of humour....
Maybe you will like to rephrase that to, 'who don't have that much of a good sense of humour?'

Everyone is not how you want them to be, you will get the people with a good sense of humour others not. People who joke about, others take things serious. Don't complain about them, that's the way they are, leave them. I can be jokey sometimes, but when it comes to religious things, I'm serious. That's the way others are as well. People do take religion as a serious matter, others take it as a joke. You take it as a joke, I don't.

And not all people are like that [ the people that you mentioned in your question] . You might have encoutered people like that so far, but the way you are asking and saying this question is, that all reiligious people don't have a sese of humour, and are like people who 'believe in the age old tradition of believe what I say or I will ridicule you and call you stupid, I will force it down your throat and if you don't like it I'll hit you, whats that about' That's not true.

I met so many calm religious people, that take it serious, but are no where near like the people you mentioned. It's just that you haven't met the good, calm religious people.

I only call people names [which I shouldn't, it's called anger] at those people, who clearly oppose and critise- racist and discrimnating comments about my religion. That's on of the main things I take serious. What about you? I try not to offend others, and apologise everytime [sometimes forget, so sorry].

Conclusion:
It's the way people are, the way they are brought up, the place and environment, and the family. Not everyone is like you. You can't have everyone to be the same, and have the same point of veiw. Everyone looks at the world from different views, that's why we have arguements. *White chocolate is better!, *No, dark chocolate is!*.... no one is right in this situation... it's what they think to themselves whats better.... theres no arguement in this...

But as for religion there is.... because theres only one true religion.....

Thank you for reading, hope you meet new religious people, that are opposite to the people that you mentioned.

Everyone's nastier around this time of year, in general, due to all the pressure of the holidays, but yes, many religious people DO seem to have a BIG problem letting others disagree with what they believe! I think it's fear of the unknown, or that they might be wrong!

I am a very devout christian and I have a sense of humor...believe what you want, we can still get along, I will just keep praying for you. I don't think I ever hit someone for not agreeing with me, never called someone stupid and never ever ridiculed them.

You think so? Sorry it seems that way.
I do get defensive about my beliefs though...simply because there are many ignorant people who THINK they know, and they really don't!
By the way, have I ever ridiculed you or called you stupid? Have I ever forced it down your throat?
No, I don't believe so. However, when you choose to post questions in this section, you should be prepared to be answered. Don't like the answers? Don't ask the questions.

Because those whom are religious dont understand that God Himself has a HUGE sense of Humour.

God made mankind in his "image" , he didn't mean physically, (like idiot s think) , but spiritually!

meaning, god laughs, crys, and all other emotions .

Yet the problem with religion is that by people following without question, they become dumb.

Think about it, if they want to know what Jesus's words or God's words mean, One MUST think spiritually, not physically.

A spirituall person will look and say " in his image" , ok, that means our souls are alike with his .

BUT an idiot, who just looks and speaks , without tthinking, and is not spirituall, will say " in his image? duh ok , we look like him".

sure, yet the same person will also jump off a building thinking that he can fly .

go ahead and follow him if you religious folks wish too, meanwhile i will remain standing with the ones whom saw with there eye's and mind, instead of there ego's.

Only an ape , admires the louder ape. While a spirit will look and keep a safe distance.

things wouldn't be as fun if it was just the open minded theists or the atheists hanging around. It's like sport-debating. You know you aren't going to win, but that doesn't mean you don't get better and have a blast doing it anyway.

Agree with totally but don't be surprised if you get reported for the question. Evening time the God squad are en route home from a days soul searching. Then become Bandwidth Leeches.

Right back at you. Why are you here on a forum designed to spread the truth of Jesus Christ if you want to make fun of him, laugh at him and ridicule those who follow him? Next people like you make remarks of how hateful Christians are and it is really you, the nonbeleievers with hate and attacks. WE, as Christians are only here to defend our Lord and Savior. If you do not like the knowledge, the truth, the word of God then move on. You are driven by the antichrist, you are attacking Christains because you hate Christ. It is not about us...what you say reflects your heart it says NOTHING about Christains. The hate you have, that spill out of your mouth, is hate in your soul, it is the Devil. Out of the mouth speaks the heart.
