You'd best see your doctor. Earaches are nothing to play with. If you have an infection you need to take care of it!

I reccomend you progression to the scientific expert. He/she would be able to prescribe some soreness therapy for you which of them is stronger than over the counter stuff. interior the meanwhile, take Ibuprophen. I often take 600-800 mg each 6 hours till i will get to the scientific expert. They in maximum circumstances prescribe some antibiotic ointment and a few ear drops. Do now no longer placed drops on your ears till they are prescribed with the aid of skill of your MD. i'm a RN and an earache affected person.

Have someone blow smoke into your ear or use a hair dryer set to warm (not hot). It'll help relieve the ache. If it could be swimmers ear (water in the ear canal) you can also put a drop or two or rubbing alcohol into the ear to help dry up the water.

I have a really bad ear ache right now but since I'm not in my home town I don't have a doctor so I'm just waiting it out pretty much and taking multivitamins

it's getting a little better but is still a major pain...

buy over the counter ear drops. follow the directions. then put a wad of cotton in your ear both to stop the drops from coming out and air from going into your ear. do this until the infection is gone. if this doesn't help then you will have to go visit a doctor.
