Depends on the guy... I was drunk and I did tell more truth but I still kept a lot hidden..... Even to this day there is a lot I do not tell my wife wether it be sober or drunk....

Drunk, but then they are equally adept at lying! The good part is they often don't remember what they say, and a nice conversation while they are sober will ferret out the truth!

well technically they will tell a little more of the truth when drunk but its never gonna be like here drink this now where where you last weekend. but if your all hanging out and pretty tipsy and you can slip in a question his guard will be down and well lying takes effort so the truth is way easier. but that said it all comes down to basically the character of the guy. if you dont trust him now what will make you trust him later.

I feel some sort of need to stand up for the male side here, but no, drunk.
It's all about the lowered inhibition, you wouldn't say some things when you were sober.
