You can tighten and tone your lower body by doing squats and lunges. That should burn some of the fat. Exercise alone won't cut it though. You still have to eat right and drink plenty of water. Get in some cardio too. Nothing beats the stress of midterms like a nice run. Good luck!

If you follow these tips you will lose weight.
First of all your body can healthly lose only 2-4 lbs a week. Also i would not reccomend one of those diet books or programs because once you lose the weight you will go back to doing what you did before and gain it all back.
Here is what you need to cut out of your diet or limit.
-sodas they are empty calories and just add fat.
-also juices try to limit 1 cup of o.j. has as much sugar as a can of soda.
-fast food. they provide no nutrients and terrible meals they do have healthly selections at all fast food stores if you pic those you will do much better.
-junk food is also empty calories its ok now and then just don't over do it.
Here are foods that you can indulge on.
-veggies since they are so healthy for you and provide you with many nutrients the calories in them are meaningless.
-water!! you should drink64oz. a day at first you will pee alot but then you will get used to it.
-when eating meat try to eat chicken because it is the best.
other tips
- try to have baked foods not fried.
-eat breakfast and try to have it mostly be complex carbs like oatmeal and wheat bread they will give you energy all throughout the day.
-don't skip meals when you do your body thinks it is being starved so it will hold in more calories instead of burning them.
WORKING OUT
you need to buy some weights or go to a gym and work on increasing your muscles. because that will increase you resting metabolic rate which is how many calories you burn while simply doing nothing and you will see weight loss just from that also doing 50-100 squats(5-10min) will help increase muscle in your legs.
running is also a good way to help your overall apperience.
and pilates is a good way to tone your body a simple pilates tape done three times a week along with weights and you will see a difference.
go online and find some healthy meal recipes and use them try to reduce the number of calories you take in daily but not by too much.
hope this helps you.
and make sure not to over eat try to get no more than2000 calories a day
remember you can't just lose the weight and then go back to the way it was before this is a lifestyle change you can still eat bad foods but they must be in moderation.

Jog 2-3 miles a day five days a week and be extremely consistent with it and you will see results very quickly. Nothing is going to be immediate because in order to effectively lose it and keep it off it is a slow process. Eat healthy foods and definitely do not starve yourself because your body will just hold on to that fat and not to mention you will gain it right back once you start eating properly. Keep your heart rate up for a constant 30-40 minutes while jogging.
Eat alot of lean protein's like fish and chicken, nothing fried and eat tons of fruits and vegi's. Drink alot of water and avoid any drinks with sugar. Green tea is also an excellent drink to speed up your metabolism but do not take the supplements, it is not the same thing and will probably make you nauseous. Good luck and remember to give yourself 30-40 minutes a day with exercise.

Hold the back of a chair for support and stand straight with your feet apart (about 18 inches apart). Swing one leg (the heal) backwards (not really swining your leg but have it more in control) without bending your knee. Keep your butt tight while you do this and keep your back straight without bending in any direction. Do 20 counts for each leg. Do 2 to 3 sets of this when you get used to it. If possible try the variation of swinging your leg away from you sideways (again without bending your knee). Do 20 for each leg. The sideways swing helps with the hips.

Cardio..... go for walks... as long as you can....try to take a run in there ...from tree to tree or telephone pole to tree.... Anything to get your heart rate up... To lose it faster... You have to keep your heart rate up for at least 20 minutes and each time you workout do it longer... Especially during stressing times ... if you find yourself in the " I can't study any longer mode" Go for a good walk... When its cold outside you burn more calories because your body is trying to keep you warm....
One other thing to do for you backside is to do butt crunches while you are sitting... Just squeeze those suckers as many times as you can...
Hope that helps..

It is difficult to isolate areas to work-off fat. You can try squats to isolate the and firm the glutes. But you will also hit the hamstrings and quads in the process. Good luck

jog, leg lifts, squats, eat sensibly, there are plenty of videos on firming up the buns - not fun, but necessary to stay in shape & don't expect overnite results.

Surgery or serious illness.
All the rest of the methods are time consuming and hard work.

Cardio is the only thing that will help you loose the fat. Lunges will tone up your butt.
