Yes. Ali is a US national icon. He's probably the biggest name in boxing around the world. To see how much it is worth you could put it on e-bay to get bidders and see what folks are willing to pay. My guess if it is an authentic autograph, it should sell for at least $200 and probably more depending if the autograph was signed on paper, photograph, gloves, etc. And the wording of the autograph because sometimes Ali would sign his name and write "Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee."

I don't have answer, but I do have an observation. I read in a sports memorabilia magazine that Muhammed Ali sometimes signs his autograph as "Cassius Clay" (his birth name) and that those autographs are much, MUCH more valuable (financially) to collectors than those signed "Muhammed Ali." As for your father's autograph, I'd take the advice of the person who said it was worth keeping.

Everything has a price depending on the rarity and the status of the celebrity. Ali signs a lot of autographs, so it would have to be on something that people would treasure eg his boxing gloves or a boxing program but whatever it is it should it would have some monetary value. It was signed by the greatest. Put it on EBay and find out.

Uh yes especially if it was used in a fight or worn by Ali at some point. You would have to get it authenticated if u wanted to sell it, PSA/DNA does the best authenticating of sports memerobilia, that or ill give ya 20bucks for it ;)
