In my opinion xmas is the time of year that is easiest to be single. Because this holiday is about family, the family that was there before your partner and the family that will be there after. Every thing will fall in place in due time. Don't let the holiday season bring you down, it's a time to be in the best of spirits

No, Because it's the Most Wonderful Time Of The Year,,,,

It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year

With the kids jingle belling
And everyone telling you "Be of good cheer"
It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year
It's the hap -happiest season of all
With those holiday greetings and gay happy meetings
When friends come to call
It's the hap - happiest season of all

There'll be parties for hosting
Marshmallows for toasting
And caroling out in the snow
There'll be scary ghost stories
And tales of the glories of
Christmases long, long ago

It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year
There'll be much mistltoeing
And hearts will be glowing
When love ones are near

Not if you have a loving family, and you are willing to participate in the family get together's. Doing things together helps to bring you closer. But I will say Christmas is what you make it.
But I do wish we could order snow every year just for Xmas eve, Xmas day, and boxing day. Then my Xmas would be perfect. Sheila.

NO--the holidays are the best time to be single. It's been my experience that the holidays make us more vulnerable to the attentions of the wrong person of the opposite sex. Solitude can be a good thing. Couples are stressed too during the holidays. Being single gives us the opportunity to make fun plans with people we actually want to spend time with. Happy holidays!

no any time of year if your not used to being single is the worst time. you just think that xmas is the worst because it is all about family and sticking together and when you are single you you loose that sense of feeling

when money is tight Christmas is definitely the worst time of the year to be in a relationship. single wouldn't me so much of a problem. but when you see families out Christmas shopping and you and your partner dont have the money to buy anybody presents, especially to buy a present for your partner is really hard and sad. its more important to have each other and a roof.

Being single at xmas isnt bad, but thats probably because most of my friends are single anyway...
Christmas makes me happy, thinking of gift ideas makes me frustrated!

No. I would think the worst occasion for being a single is on Valentine Day.
