Wow... someone who followed the trail and is willing to see what's really going on!
Yes, absolutely, drug companies look at what will maximize their bottom line. With all the money being poured into "research," these companies won't jeapordize their cash cow. Now, sure, there may legitimately be cures that haven't been developed yet, I don't think there are cures for everything. But there are definitely many many "discovered" cures that could keep millions of people from suffering, but because of the loss of revenue and benefit to the stock holders, it would cause, they are being held back.
And it's not just that you "believe" it, what's true is true. Follow the money trail. Most of us don't have time to do in-depth research to uncover what's going on with pharmaceuticals, but it's there.
There are also cases where companies that know of a up and coming cure buy the cure and then tuck it away. No one can bring it up while they've got the patent/legal rights to it, right?
Some people think that drug companies couldn't hold back cures, because they could make so much money selling the cure. The problem is that most of the world is poor. Most people that would need the cure, could not afford it, no matter how much they needed it. It is still more lucrative to keep it quiet, and possibly provide it for extremely wealthy individuals that can afford to pay whatever is asked than to release it to the public.

Oh Yes! I am a living witness. I am in the middle of a 21 day water-fast followed by a 10 day juice fast and I not only lost weight my hypertension has been cured. Prescription drugs are just legal dope money. Of course there is a cure. Why would they tell us? The medical field is a buisness and they want money. I was diagnosed with intracranial hypertension which is a rare illness and while fasting all of my sysptoms are reversing and the doctors are like it's a medical miracle so what I did was took a walk with faith.

People who think there is more money gained than lost by finding a cure obviously don't know how it works. Drug companies give away billions every year to those who cannot afford their medicines, if they started giving away cures they would lose money from those who pay for their prescriptions, who would need them then? And why pay for something when you can get it from them for free, you just have to know how to jerk them around. I personally think it's crap, if you can cure AIDS and cancer then F'ing do it, who cares about the money, but then again, it's not my pockets being lined.

That's ridiculous. There would be a HECK of a lot more money to be made for cures if and when they happen. No one is holding back anything. Good grief. Hundreds of BILLIONS of dollars would be made for a cure for AIDs.

Do you know how much fame, money, and power a doctor could gain by providing CURES for formerly incurable illnesses? You think wrong.
