pi=3.142 (approx) this is a constant
C = Circumference
r= radius
* = multiply
/ = divide

so r = C / (2*Pi)

basically divide by 2*Pi

Divide each side of the equation by 2 Pi

and you get r = C / 2 Pi

(C divided by 2 Pi)

c=2.pi.r
divide both sides by 2.pi to isolate r (i.e. make its coefficient unity)
then
r = c / 2.pi
