No. Boxing evolved over the years from earlier forms of fighting. We have fossils that show that wrestling and kungfu predate boxing. It actually evolved from a form of wedgets, but we have get to find the missing link. But the similars are too "stricking" to be random chance.

Besides, the text that CLAIM Hermes invented boxing were written by men, based on oral tradition, were altered by the early Hermesians, and thus are totally unreliable.

Besides, there is no proof the boxing exist. No document ever mentions boxing by name during the time that Hermes lived. If it existed, we would know the date on which it was created. We don't, so it never existed. Boxing is just a compilation of myth and legends from over the centuries.

I know all this for a fact. I asked Zeus this morning, and he told me.

Since Hermes seems to be accepted then Zeus exists, since he fathered Hermes.

Yeah, I e-mailed a lady this once too. She informed me that lots of stuff contained in the Bible quite exceeded off. I stated, all that proves is that the Hebrews wrote down their history no longer that there is a god. I then stated that there is alot of evidence for the Trojan warfare yet that would not advise that Zeus and Posidon exist both.

Humans invented gods to explain what they did not understand...the sunrise and sunset, war, humanity, thunder, the seas...according to so many others, your theory is crap and you will either die a thousand deaths in hell forever, or you will get 49 virgins, just pick the fate you want. My personal favorite is that it is all just a dream and it does not matter anyway...
